Nomura Confidently Expands Joint Venture with Origin by Adding 2 Projects Worth 3.6 Billion Baht
Strengthening Collaboration with Over 32 Billion Baht
Origin Property has partnered with Japanese real estate giant Nomura Real Estate to expand their joint venture with 2 additional condominium projects, namely “The Origin Sukhumvit-Sailuat E22 Station” and “The Origin Plug & Play Ramintra,” with a total project value exceeding 3.6 billion baht. Nomura expresses confidence in the company's potential, the brand's appeal to the younger generation, and the Thai real estate market, boosting the total value of their joint condominium projects to over 32 billion baht while continuously seeking new collaboration opportunities.
Mr. Pirapong Jarunek, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), a comprehensive real estate development company, revealed that the company has partnered with Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., a major Japanese real estate developer, to add 2 more projects worth a total of over 3.6 billion baht. These include the “The Origin Sukhumvit-Sailuat E22 Station” project valued at 1.6 billion baht and the “The Origin Plug & Play Ramintra” project valued at 2 billion baht.

“Nomura continues to have confidence in the overall potential of the Thai real estate business and believes in the capabilities of the Origin Property group, which has consistently delivered excellent performance since the initial announcement of their joint venture in mid-2017. They also recognize the strength of the new brand 'The Origin,' which, despite being launched only a year and a half ago, has received a very positive response from the younger demographic,” Mr. Pirapong stated.
With the addition of these 2 projects, Origin Property and Nomura Real Estate Development have now collaborated on a total of 9 condominium projects, increasing the cumulative project value from approximately 28.643 billion baht to 32.243 billion baht. Previous collaborations included high-end condominium brands such as KnightsBridge and luxury condominium brands like PARK ORIGIN, alongside 2 joint hotel projects.
Mr. Pirapong further stated that this additional collaboration reflects the company's strength, which continues to gain trust and confidence from partners in terms of quality product development, brand development, and the ability to reach target customers in both the short and long term. At the same time, collaboration with international partners will enhance the company's capabilities in terms of capital, knowledge exchange, and access to foreign customer markets, with Nomura Real Estate Development being a strong partner in all these aspects.
The company continues to explore opportunities for joint ventures with various companies, especially with Nomura Real Estate Development, which is the company's first foreign partner and has been a long-term collaborator. There may be opportunities for cooperation in both residential sales projects and other types of real estate projects.
